I know when your person is about to look at you like that. I know when your mom is holding it together by a thread. I know when the light is doing something worth chasing and when it's time to stop chasing and just be still.
But I also know how to make something. How to place you somewhere beautiful, give one quiet direction, and create a frame that feels as true as anything that happened on its own. Editorial and instinctive. Crafted and honest. I don't think those things are opposites — I think a great gallery needs both.
What I'm really after is a wedding that's fully told. The iconic portrait and the stolen glance. The moment you planned and the one nobody saw coming. All of it woven together into something that actually feels like your day felt.
That's the work. And it's the only kind I know how to do.
