Your engagement session is not a rehearsal for your wedding. It's its own thing — a chance to be photographed as exactly who you are right now, before the wedding day changes everything in the best possible way. No pressure, no performance. Just the two of you, and a photographer who knows how to find the real moments inside the planned ones.
for the couple who wants to be photographed as exactly who they are right now
The way you look at each other today — the inside jokes, the easy closeness, the way one of you always reaches for the other's hand — that's what this session is for. Not a posed portrait. A document of who you were together at this exact moment in your story. You'll never feel posed. You'll always look intentional.

My approach for engagement sessions lives in the same balance as my wedding work — editorial direction when the moment calls for it, space and stillness when it doesn't. I'll give you prompts that feel like suggestions, not instructions. You'll move, you'll laugh, you'll forget I'm there. And in between all of it, I'll be catching the frames that matter.
You'll never feel posed. You'll always look intentional.
EXCLUSIVE \ INTENTIONAL \ PERSONAL
The excitement of right now. Preserved before it becomes a memory.
Location guidance + recommendations
Gallery delivered within three weeks
Every session includes a pre-shoot styling guide, location consultation, and a fully edited online gallery delivered within three weeks. No hidden fees, no package confusion.
If you're a wedding client, your engagement session is discounted. Ask about it during your discovery call.
Within three weeks, your fully edited gallery arrives — true to color, true to the feeling of the session. These are not just engagement photos. They're the first record of who you were together before the wedding day. The first heirloom of what you're building.
On session day, expect to move, laugh, and simply be together. I'll offer gentle direction when it serves the image and step back when it doesn't. The prompts I give you are designed to create real moments — not poses. My direction is intentional but feels effortless, and the images will reflect exactly that.
Once we've locked in your session, I'll send over my styling guide — wardrobe direction, color palette recommendations, and everything you need to feel confident and prepared. We'll also confirm your location and timing to catch the best light. This session isn't about checking a wedding planning box. It's about creating something worth having on its own.
Reach out and we'll have a relaxed conversation about your vision — where you want to shoot, what you want to wear, what kind of energy you're hoping for. This isn't a planning checklist. It's a conversation so I can understand what your relationship actually looks and feels like before I ever pick up a camera.

Absolutely — and I encourage it. Locations that mean something to you produce images that feel like you. If you're not sure where to go, I'll share a curated list of locations I love, tailored to your style and the kind of light you're after.
No — and this is intentional. Editing is a core part of my artistic process, not an afterthought. Every image you receive has been carefully curated and edited to reflect the mood, color, and feeling of your session. What you'll receive is a finished, cohesive gallery — not a folder of raw files.
I keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If conditions aren't workable, we'll reschedule together. That said — overcast skies and soft light are often a gift. Some of the most beautiful sessions I've shot happened under clouds. Your energy matters more than the weather.
Ideally 6–9 months before your wedding, especially if you plan to use the photos for save-the-dates. That said, engagement sessions are worth having at any point — even after the wedding. If you want to be photographed together intentionally, that's reason enough.
