Bella Cosa: One of Central Florida’s Most Photogenic Wedding Venues
If you haven’t been to Bella Cosa yet, here’s the short version: it’s a Tuscan-inspired estate in Lake Wales with stone staircases, manicured gardens, and warm Mediterranean architecture that does most of the heavy lifting for a wedding gallery before I even lift my camera. As a photographer who shoots weddings across Orlando and the wider Central Florida region, I can say confidently that Bella Cosa is built for documentary-style storytelling, not stiff, over-posed portraits. The light moves through the property beautifully all day, and every corner — from the grand staircase to the garden pathways — gives a Bella Cosa wedding its own sense of place, rather than looking like it could’ve happened anywhere.
The bridal suite at Bella Cosa was full of energy that morning — laughter bouncing off the walls as the girls got ready together, curling irons going, someone’s playlist a little too loud. Cayla, through all of it, stayed completely relaxed. And the light in that room — soft, golden, spilling in through the windows — made my job almost too easy. Some mornings I have to chase the light. That one, it just showed up and stayed.

Cayla and Gradey’s Bella Cosa wedding was everything I love photographing as an Orlando wedding photographer: real, warm, a little chaotic in the best way, and full of the in-between moments that never make it onto a shot list. The browns and whites in the bridesmaids’ dresses felt like they were made for Bella Cosa — warm, earthy tones that played right into the reception room’s natural palette and carried through every backdrop on the property. Nothing fought the space; it all just belonged there. And all day, you could feel it — the love and energy from family and friends filling every corner of the room.
What stuck with me most was how present they both were with each other all day at Bella Cosa — not performing for the camera, just there. That’s the whole reason I photograph Central Florida weddings the way I do: documentary instinct first, editorial polish where it matters, always chasing the moment nobody planned.
As Cayla put it after their wedding:
“Her energy and passion for photography really shows… She makes sure everything feels so natural and unposed, photos never feel awkward or uncomfortable. She saw my vision and went above and beyond.
